Doxa Youth Programs & Family Care is a non-profit organization based in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The organization focuses on empowering youth, strengthening families, and raising awareness on gender-based violence. Their goal was to reach more people online, attract donors, and promote their programs.

They needed a professional website that would clearly present their mission, programs, and community projects. The project was developed on a low budget, without an initial SEO plan, but was designed with scalability in mind for future optimization.

My Role
I handled the full website design and development using WordPress and Elementor. The work included:

  • Custom page layouts for Home, About, Programs, Events, and Donations.

  • Integration of contact forms and location details.

  • Optimized structure for desktop, tablet, and mobile viewing.

  • Visual storytelling through banners and sliders.

  • Volunteer and donation call-to-action sections.

The goal was to create a clean, functional website that represented the organization’s values while improving their online presence.

Future SEO & Visibility Plan

The next phase focuses on strengthening the site’s digital visibility and search performance across South Africa. The strategy aims to position Doxa Youth Programs & Family Care among the top-ranking community organizations within its sector.

Key steps in the plan:

  • Conduct a full SEO audit to identify technical gaps, indexing issues, and page performance.

  • Add structured metadata and optimized headings (H1–H3) across all pages.

  • Integrate location-based keywords to improve local search visibility.

  • Write SEO-focused content highlighting ongoing programs, community success stories, and partnerships.
